December 19, 2019 – Hampton, NH: SIAA (Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance) – the largest alliance of independent insurance agencies in the U.S – continues its campaign to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project as it has done for the last three years. SIAA has raised funds for the not-for-profit organization, supporting military veterans and their families by holding campaigns leading up to Memorial Day and Veterans Day each year. Since first supporting Wounded Warrior Project three years ago, SIAA has raised $271,183 for the organization.
Leading into Veteran’s Day, 2019, SIAA issued a $15,000 match challenge to their Member Agencies, Master Agencies and Partner Companies. All in, $34,675 was raised for the Wounded Warrior Project.
Leading up to Memorial Day, SIAA had a goal of raising $10,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. If the goal was met, SIAA committed to match this amount, and announced it would contribute an additional $5,000 if donations from their Member Agencies and Master Agencies exceeded $10,000. Generous contributions poured in, and close to $28,000 was raised from Member Agencies and Master Agencies. SIAA matched $15,000 bringing the total raised for the Memorial Day campaign to $42,791.
“These dollars will help service men and women who have returned home needing assistance,” said Matt Masiello, Chief Executive Officer of SIAA. “We are proud to contribute to this organization which is helping hundreds of military veterans and their families every day.”
Each year, SIAA and its members participate in corporate social responsibility with local and national organizations that have a meaningful impact.
